Difference Between CE & SAE credits

When someone gets their Real Estate license, in their first two years they need 90 hours of SAE credits and they have to take 8 hours of Legal (Legal 1 and Legal 2) to renew their license.  If we have a client that is in one of our CE courses, they are welcome to sign the roster and pay for credit so that it appears on their TREC record (some people like this for marketing purposes), but it won’t help them with their SAE renewal.  They have to take what are called “qualifying courses” which are usually given in 30-hour blocks.  They usually purchase these courses from a provider such as Champions School of Real Estate which offers SAE packages.
